Today when my mom asked me where I wanted to eat I said, “Chipotle!”, without blinking. Only when we got to Chipotle there was not an empty seat in the house. We were in the South End neighborhood and my mom suggested the Cluck-n-Cup (yes, that’s really the name). Turns out my mom had never eaten there either. So, we both ordered the chicken pot pie, at the suggestion of the counter man (super nice, chatted me up about my Duran Duran hat), along with the side (fruit, chips, salad, or mac and cheese) and drink (tea or soft drink) that comes with it.
Wow!
Best. Pot. Pie. EVAH! And believe me, I’ve tried many, many pot pies. So good! If you live in or visit Charlotte you must go have one. My mom and I will be going back again. Oh, and they also sell the pies for you to take home and bake yourself. Plus!
