By now, anyone who reads this blog should know how much I absolutely adore Sandra Suy. I check her Dripbook page to keep up on new work and just to generally drool over the arty goodness that is Sandra Suy.
Can you believe all the times I’ve been on Dripbook it never occurred to me to look for more art and illustration? Well, I’m making up for lost time…
I absolutely adore this… I mean, seriously, what is not to love?
I love the color and movement here… it’s very serene.
I love that ultrablond halo – she looks like a siren!
Apparently, I’m also a fan of underwater photography because that’s what caught my eye. This set is by photographer Mallory Morrison. Please don’t let this person have an online shop like Sandra Suy does or I’m doomed!
Urban Outfitters has a collaboration with art website Society 6 going right now. The pricing is by size and includes art that leans more toward the edgy-cooler-than-thou vibe than the serious art vibe of 20×200. Still, there are some gems to be had. Poster size runs about $35 and you can cover your laptop or iPhone/iPad/iPod with the art featured.
I’m in love with these photography prints by Heather Landis from a series titled The Abyss of the Disheartened. Check it.
OK, it isn’t really a ‘new moon’s! It is a catchy title though, right? I took these two pics on the way home from work. I just thought the clear sky and the mix of bare and evergreen trees with the moon hanging above them was a beautiful sight!
Speaking if beautiful sites… OK. Full disclosure (and slight change of subject): I’m combining my blogs together. So if you go back in the archives you’ll see a lot of posts on yarn crafts and sewing. You might see a few more pop up that are about books and their covers. I decided to just follow all my interests on As Is. I mean, really, they’re all integrated in my life so why seperate them when I’m blogging? I’ll be simplifying my categories and looking for a theme that makes all the subjects I have and will be covering look good. If you have any suggestions feel free to drop me a line!
